Your inbox, sorted. Your day, too.
TidyTime sorts your inbox, helps you unsubscribe from what you don’t need, and brings Tidy, an assistant that searches, labels and schedules for you.
Your inbox sorted, your time back. Private, with no AI subscription.
Most AI mail apps run your email through their servers and charge a subscription to use the AI. TidyTime does the opposite.
- Local and encrypted
Your email lives on your Mac. There are no TidyTime servers for it to pass through.
- Your own AI key
No monthly AI fee. Pick your provider, OpenAI or Claude, and pay only for what you use.
- An assistant that acts
Tidy goes beyond summaries: it moves, labels and schedules across your email, calendar and reminders, always with your confirmation.
- Unsubscribes that get checked
After you unsubscribe, TidyTime watches that the emails stop and tells you if they don’t.
- Automatic commitments. Tidy will spot what you promise in your emails (“I’ll send it Friday”) and remind you without being asked.
- Works with the app closed. Your inbox gets sorted in the background, with a daily summary waiting for you.
- Invitations from your inbox. Accept or decline meetings without leaving the message.
Built so opening your inbox stops feeling like a chore.
Everything in TidyTime is designed to get you to what matters sooner and spend less time shuffling emails around.
Automatic sorting
Every email lands in its category: bills, newsletters, alerts, work. The Today section gathers what needs your attention now.
Instant search
Search the full text of all your email, even offline, because the index lives on your Mac.
Real Gmail labels
Create, rename, nest and delete labels from the sidebar. Drag emails onto a label to apply it.
Cleanup and subscriptions
See every newsletter grouped by sender and unsubscribe in one click. TidyTime checks that they actually stop.
A sidebar your way
Reorder or hide Today, Mail, Labels, Categories and Cleanup. Keep what you use every day up front.
Private by design
Your email is stored encrypted on your Mac and the AI uses your own key. Nobody sits in between.
Unsubscribe once. TidyTime checks that it worked.
Mailing services switch lists without warning, so TidyTime groups subscriptions by sender: 120 lists become 66 senders you can review at a glance.
If someone keeps emailing you two days after you unsubscribe, they show up in orange with a button to try again.
Open it in the side panel or as a floating window with ⌥⌘J.
⌘J opens it even when the main window is closed.
Ask the way you’d ask a person. Tidy takes care of it.
Tidy is the TidyTime assistant. It understands your email, your labels and your calendar, and works with OpenAI or Claude using your own key.
- Search
What did Lucía send me about the budget?
- Labels
Move Bills inside Home and rename it Receipts.
- Calendar
Block Thursday at 5 pm to review the project.
- Commitments
What did I promise to send this week?
- Reminders
Remind me to sign the school permission slip tomorrow.
- Always at hand
Keep the window on top while I work in full screen.
Tidy asks before changing anything. Every label it renames, every event it creates and every email it moves waits for you to press Confirm.
Your email stays with you.
TidyTime has no servers of its own for your email to pass through. The app talks directly to Gmail or iCloud and, when you use AI, to the provider you choose.
- Storage
- Encrypted on your Mac
- Artificial intelligence
- Your key, your provider
- Credentials
- In the Keychain
An SQLCipher database encrypted with AES-256. The key is generated on your computer and stored in the macOS Keychain.
Connect your OpenAI or Anthropic (Claude) account. When you use AI, the content your request needs goes straight to that provider.
Your accounts’ app passwords are stored in the macOS Keychain, never in a text file.
Try TidyTime on your Mac.
The beta isn’t signed by Apple yet, so macOS will ask for permission the first time. Drag TidyTime to Applications, open it and, if a warning appears, go to System Settings › Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway”.
Common questions.
Which accounts can I use?
Gmail and iCloud. You connect them with app passwords, which you create in your account’s security settings.
Do I need an AI key?
Yes, for Tidy and the AI features. Paste an OpenAI or Anthropic key into Settings. Your provider bills you directly for what you use.
Where is my email stored?
On your Mac, in an encrypted database. Your messages also stay in Gmail or iCloud, as always.
Can Tidy delete or send things on its own?
No. Any change to your email, labels or calendar needs your confirmation first.
