These terms govern your use of TidyTime, a mail app for macOS provided by [name or company]. By downloading or using TidyTime you accept these terms.

Beta version

TidyTime is in beta. It may contain bugs, change without notice or stop being available. Don’t rely on it as the only copy of your email; your messages remain in Gmail or iCloud.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use TidyTime on your own computers. You may not resell the app, distribute modified copies or try to bypass its security measures.

Your accounts and your AI key

  • You are responsible for the email accounts you connect and for having permission to access them.
  • AI features use your own OpenAI or Anthropic key. Your provider bills you directly for those requests, and their use is subject to its terms.
  • You must follow the terms of use of Google, Apple and the AI provider you choose.

Tidy and actions on your email

Tidy suggests actions (moving or labeling emails, creating events, renaming labels) and only carries them out when you press Confirm. AI responses can contain mistakes: always review what you are about to confirm. You are responsible for the actions you confirm.

Acceptable use

Don’t use TidyTime to send spam, access other people’s accounts without permission or for any illegal activity.

Warranty and liability

TidyTime is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for data loss, outages of your email or AI provider, or indirect damages arising from use of the app, except where the law does not allow that liability to be limited.
